Well...the people who are buying gold certainly seem to If three countries or more cease using euro there will be no parity at all between members, forcing anyone with a larger economy to reassess to save their own economy. After all, this isn't utopia.

if three of the larger economies ceased using the Euro that would be the case, but the smaller economies such as Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Latvia, etc. really wouldn`t really make any difference imo.This recession began in 2008, now 7 years ago. If it was an advantage to be out of the Euro, I`m sure some of them would surely have done so by now.

I went into the local bureau today to buy some sterling cash, I had €1600 with me, (rate €1 = 73p) but managed to sweet talk the lady behind the counter and walked away with 1200stg so happy days
