Personally I think the meaning of 'prostitute' has changed, but like a lot of things the word has not evolved with it. There are so many options now and we are mostly in control of every aspect of what we do, so there is no pimp or anyone telling us what we 'have' to do. People need to get their heads around this and stop feeling 'sorry' for people being forced into terrible situations. Personally I'd rather do this than be a chimney sweep as suggested lol.
