It is true indeed. I have very similar experience. Since I've started escorting, most people I know from outside the industry, behave as if my earnings are very easy for me to get. Of course there have been loan requests, but in most cases I have been handing cash over never expecting, I'd get anything back. Sometimes even £50 is a life-saver. I can understand that, been there myself, hence my current occupation.
However everybody around seems to keep forgetting, that I do not get my money for free, what they seem to imply. They have no idea, what cost is involved in our job, not only monies, but as well as health/well-being risks. I wouldn't expect them to know it, as I don't brag about price of my apartment, clothes, food etc. But the assumption they make, that escorting is easy money, is soooo insulting.

Nevertheless, after my last experience, where my ekhm best friend was trying to rob my home, has caused damage to my car, and never asked if owes me anything for the repair, I do not trust anyone either.

It is sad though. I guess, it is another reason for escorts to be rather isolated from 'normal' society.

I must be very lucky regarding my girlfriends.

Not only when it comes to money, but in general, they will get all the support from me anytime, as I know the favour will be returned.

So...helping people out is generally good for you...but you should not lend largish amounts of money unless you realise it is unlikely to repaid and it may destroy relationships. Escorts are no different to anyone else with the exception of a small minority who use their charms on clients they regard as generous and Likely to part with their money easily and invest in something without any return. It's beginning to sound a bit like a visit to my local bank manager.

Lending money to an escort you may have met a couple of times is ridiculous imo,
Asking to be burned.

Iv lent money to friends and not been paid back in cash.
But these are real friends whom I can rely on when I am stuck,
and have done things for me that money cannot buy.

Saved my ass on a few occasions, and for that I would never ask for a penny back.

Different people have vastly different morals.
I know who (Im not talkin escorts here but the same would apply if I knew any better than I do im sure)I can loan money to and then know ill have to tip toe around the subject with to get it back.....and I also know people are so organised and of high morals who would almost be annoying in how they would make 100% sure they paid you back every penny when they said they would.

Ive lent 4-5k to people and wouldn't lose a moments sleep about whether or not ill get it back...........likewise I know who I need to use the "Ive only got a credit card on me" excuse with if it looked like they wanted 50 euro while out in a pub etc.
