I've "lent" money to escorts many times, though in my own mind I never considered them to be loans because I never truthfully held any hopes of ever getting the money back. I did it out of good nature.

I've always considered myself to be quiet street smart and savvy. But one such "loan" I made - or long series of loans more like - ended up costing me dearly in ways that went far beyond the money. The lesson for me was not only to never again do anything like loaning money to an escort, but it went as far as never again visiting an escort. That was over 2 years ago and even though I used to visit escorts all the time for many years, I have not returned since being stung.

The advice I offer out of experience - take it or leave it - never EVER let things between punter and escort go beyond a business transaction, whether that involves money or anything else. I have paid a terrible price for doing so and it's something that will have to stay with me for the rest of my days.
Sounds really bad. I presume she broke your heart as well.

I hate lending money, I just don't do it for any large amounts. Sometimes I've made the decision to give someone small amounts of money knowing I'll never see it again but with the positive side I'd never see them again or at least they'd stop leaching off me.
If an escort were to ask me for a lend of money the question in my head wouldn't be will I get it back, it would be like Sophie said, do I want to give them money as it's highly unlikely it would be repayable.

Then it should be shared by pm...and should be encouraged!

    Cop OMG!! Don't do it!!!!

    OPPORTUNISTS

You have to hand it to them! Some ladies are very clever and very charming when they ask for a loan!!!! Mind you, there are some genuine girls out there, but very few!

It's simple! as said already in previous posts. If you don't expect to see it back, then lend it

Been there and bought the tee shirt!!

Indeed that may be the way to go ,I know in my case I was very trusting and foolish but thankfully it has not hardened my heart against genuine people and as you have pointed out there are still some options I can follow

She is pulling on your heart strings, implying that there is more than a friendship. I assume this is why your case is 'unusual'? It can't be anything else. Listen to your head, not your heart. You will be dropped like a hot potato once that money is given and she is gone.

The advice is very good...and already learned. But in this case it's just way to complicated to explain.

If it's that complicated, all the more reason not to lend money.
