This is the misconception that the Irish government and the likes of Ruhama (the 'rescue agency') are trying to reinforce.

It's like calling someone who gives their friend a joint for a couple of euros a 'drug baron'.
Its not actually that way in ireland but for england though yes, I mean the irish law definition of trafficking is not the same as the english, just cause torl say the definition of trafficking is the same (not literally but by the way they go on they believe it is/purposefully want to muddy the waters) as england the reality is that by LAW (you know the stuff that actually matters) it isnt, Im referring to 'the movement of people'

That is not necessarily true, I actually knew quite a few ladies in this price range that were working for themselves, true independents, they worked for themselves alone, the reason they charge this amount would be to compete with the more established escorts and get established themselves and build up reviews etc, start low and work your way up, once they built up a good reputation they increased their rates accordingly and there are even escorts on here today that have done it this way.

This sound like friend is her boss? , .No... she just help her. If i go in Germany to my other escort friend i dont speak german if she will help me answering for me at phone this not make her my pimp. We escorts travel all over the world but we dont speak all languages so sometimes a litlle help is good if u have a friend who can help with language barrier
    That I have certainly experienced.

I wonder if anyone pushing for the introduction of Swedish-style Legislation put the Archbishop up to making such an announcement.

(The comments section of the above article also make for interesting reading)
    Particularly liked this comment:

''Hypocrisy of the highest order. Equivalent of Gary Glitter suggesting a clampdown on paedos.''

That has always been my assumption.
You can also notice when suddenly a group of ladies seem to descend on one area at the same time, none of whom as far as I can see are forum posters, and none of whom allow reviews.
Often they list numerous favourites and the stated rates are generally low like the quoted poster mentions.

They could narrow down who is trafficked or pimped very easily if that was the sole purpose for the new legislation the government assumes will place a hailo over their (Ivory towered)heads.

They certainly could but this legislation is about moral disapproval of sex work. At least the Swedish and Canadian governments had the balls to admit that.

The Bill will become law this year and its not popular with us but scores points for the government.
If this was to be put to a public vote in Ireland the vast majority of people would vote for it and we all know it.

Not if they were allowed to know the facts. One of which is that the total number of convictions for sex trafficking in Ireland last year was one.
