    Default Clarke Carlisle in life-threatening road accident.

    Former Professional Footballers' Association chairman Clarke Carlisle is in hospital after being involved in a serious road accident involving a lorry.
    The former Burnley and QPR defender, 35, was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary following the accident.
    His injuries are reported to be life-threatening and very serious.

    i didnt realise that this was a suicide attempt. Apparently he jumped in front of the lorry after being arrested for drunk driving. I hope he can get help for his problems and get his life back on track.

    Surprising as he never had the appearance of someone with issues. A stark reminder of how little we know about what goes on inside people's heads.
