How very selective you are with your quote lol !
I just read through the same article. You've quoted the one single sentence that seems unfavorable , but even that simply
said that they are
perceived to be such and such sacrilegious etc.
How about this snippet ! >>
"In Russia feminism is seen as something "that could destroy Russia" as said by Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church.[45] Pussy Riot are important to the feminist movement and showcase that post-feminism has not been achieved."

*im just having a bit of fun xx
On February 21, 2012,
as part of a protest movement against the re-election of Vladimir Putin, five women from the group entered the Cathedral of Christ the Savior of the Russian Orthodox Church in Moscow. There was
no church service in session at the time, and only a few people were in the cathedral.[61] Removing their winter clothes, they put on colorful balaclavas, walked up the steps leading to the altar, and began to
jump around, punching the air.[62]
After less than a minute, they were escorted outside the building by guards.[63] Film of the performance was later combined with footage shot at a different church,[64] identified by Russian Orthodox Church spokesman Vsevolod Chaplin as the Epiphany Cathedral in Yelokhovo,[65] to create a video clip for the song, which they entitled "Punk Prayer: Mother of God Drive Putin Away".[6]
See , I have no like nor dislike for the guy. He actually strikes quite a handsome pose half naked on a horse's back lol !!
I don't care for his tactics. Intimidation and strong arm politics. Forcefully eliminating any and all opposition ,
assassinating dissenters even on foreign land , etc.
I think it is rather naive to think 'it was the voters who put him there'.
I don't think you're this naive , I think you're just making interesting conversation
xx
Is that the
only Putin policy you do not condone ?
As to the graph -- it's pretty. Has nice colors :
