I'm currently drilling for oil in my back yard. This time next year I'll be a billionaire.

How very selective you are with your quote lol !
I just read through the same article. You've quoted the one single sentence that seems unfavorable , but even that simply
said that they are perceived to be such and such sacrilegious etc.
How about this snippet ! >>
"In Russia feminism is seen as something "that could destroy Russia" as said by Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church.[45] Pussy Riot are important to the feminist movement and showcase that post-feminism has not been achieved."

See , I have no like nor dislike for the guy. He actually strikes quite a handsome pose half naked on a horse's back lol !!Originally Posted by JJ
I don't care for his tactics. Intimidation and strong arm politics. Forcefully eliminating any and all opposition ,
assassinating dissenters even on foreign land , etc.
I think it is rather naive to think 'it was the voters who put him there'.
I don't think you're this naive , I think you're just making interesting conversation xx
Is that the only Putin policy you do not condone ?Originally Posted by JJ

Never that impressed with Pussy Riot, I considered them to be a bunch of lesbyankas acting the maggot. But sending them to max security prisons for a few years was somewhat of an over reaction.

I'm not all that impressed with them either -- musically x
I cited them as an example of oppression.
But , btw , how many other protesters and dissenters does the public ever hear of ?
None , even though there're plenty behind bars .
In that respect , Pussy Riot is a success , having been annoying enough to be reckoned with.
"Death to Prison, Freedom to Protests"
On December 14, 2011, the group performed atop a garage beside the Moscow Detention Center No. 1 prison, where opposition activists were being held among the prisoners. Political activists Alexey Navalny and Ilya Yashin had been arrested one week earlier at a mass protest against the results of the State Duma elections.[55]

Ahh you are not nearly cynical enough.
I mentioned RT (Russian State funded propaganda machine, yes kinda like the BBC etc.)which you never confirmed as your source
But RT differs from the others in that you'll rarely if ever seen them criticise the russian government.

As someone who a. works in commodity markets and b. drives my German marque hard everywhere I go (I do over 100mph every time I get in the car) this is only good news for me. Firstly, volatility in commodity markets means investors will be jumping in and out like a cunt while I'll be cashing in like a Swiss citizen at the end of a war. Secondly, filling up my top of the range German marque will cost less, meaning I can drive it harder than ever before. Great news all round.
Thanks,
Jack
