Clutching at straws. It would come down to how you contacted her, what the conversation was, ect.

At the end of the day, the people whom will be enforcing the new law aren't idiots, plus they will have full jurisdiction to tap phones, arrest on the spot, and build up secret cases against suspect clients. Of course ladies will say I only offer companionship, but who pays them prices for companionship? Anyway what the lady says is irrelevant, it's you that will be responsible for hiring a solicitor and defending yourself in a court of law! A risk only a very small minority or the desperado's would take.

I said an i repeat. I have been working in Stockholm , Sweden last year in october and i asked almost all clients about the swedish law if they are not afraid to be catched and all of them told me that police dont bother about , it is a law yes but police have other things more important to do. The only case was in newspaper about a prosecutor who was catched visiting an escort. http://www.expressen.se/nyheter/akla...l-i-stockholm/

Btw i was working in same hotel too and after few days they told me to pack and go lol but my question is: if they realised i am an escort they could call police to catch the guys right? Instead of this they just told me to leave so like my swedish clients told me they didnt bother about guys...

Exactly what way the law is enforced and the severities of it, simply won't be known until it's (new legislation) in full operation. But this isn't Sweden, so can't really compare. IMO, the Guards will jump on this one, so will many freelance journalists, they'll be following clients and taking pics, ect.

The small towns around Ireland will be worst affected by this law. The women from those towns would love nothing more than to point their fingers at poor blokes, calling them scum. In reality demand will nose dive. What married man with children would risk that type of publicity? Irish men I know have a totally different view to your Swedish clients.

As for your comment about the hotel. It surprises me that someone in your position is so naive in their opinion. Of course the hotel would prefer not to involve the police, and just deal with you themselves. No hotel would want such publicity. As I said up coming journalists love these types of story. I would wage a bet that you're blacklisted from that hotel, which in itself should tell you something.

Has the penny not dropped yet?

"Ladies" can come up with all the "tricks" they like, but the onus is on you to prove your innocence. Is it really that difficult to comprehend. No joking, no scaremongering, but I think the game is up for any client with something to loose.

This type of scenario is manna from heaven for small town hacks. There was a local paper recently who reported of 20 odd trafficked girls working in a rural town which was in essence 20 ladies working in that town who were advertising on this site.
Once the men visiting these ladies are breaking a law- you can expect wholesale local media attention.
Not trying to scaremonger but thats the reality. The likelyhood of your image with face blacked out leaving an apartment block appearing in the local or even national rag is the more likely risk than being handcuffed or even just fined by the law.
