Kendra I don't agree that for a good escort it is just about the money.

Speaking personally, in my job, money is by no means the only or even main motivating factor. Of course like everyone else I have bills to pay, and so need to be paid for my services just like anyone else. That is the nature of living in a capitalist economy. I have made an assessment about the market rate for the job I do, and wouldn't take on a job that paid less than what I believe I'm worth if I can avoid it.

But having said that, I gain many other benefits and satisfaction from my employment than merely my pay cheque at the end of the month. The social interaction with my colleagues, the camaraderie of playing as a team member to achieve a shared objective and the inherent need to believe that one's life is in some way useful, making a contribution to the economy and wider society. All these things are more important than money as motivating factors.
Money is a mere "hygiene factor". Get it wrong, and you'll piss someone off. Get it right, and you won't motivate someone, you simply meet their expectations.

Yeah this is exactly how I feel with regards to this job, I certainly wouldn't have been doing it for the past 4 years if I didn't feel that way about it.

But would you do it if a guy phoned you and asked you for a discount? Would you do it if it wasn't for the money?

What about if you get a timewaster? Do you block them because you spent 20 minutes putting your makeup on or is it becuase you've lost out on a booking with someone else? I suspect it's the latter!

Having said all of this, there are lots of escorts who are only interested in the money without going to any effort to please their clients and I DO NOT condone this nor do I condone fakes and scammers but for the rest of us who provide a good service with many happy clients then I say it's a job well done.

I have toured in Scotland quite a few times in the past. Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness. I never charged low rates ever so for some reason Scottish gents were quite happy to pay me what I requested then again though I do not see many people in a day and don't take every appointment that calls me. Maybe different clients like different things and maybe even some gents are happy to pay higher rates sometimes. Escorting is a very diverse industry where things are different for everyone. Ireland may be great for me but someone else may prefer Paris. You can never really compare two escorts or two countries as you are not comparing like with like.
Regards money yes obviously everyone works for money but those that have a form of fulfilment and enjoyment from their employment choices are much happier in life generally. It's a much healthier way of living than only thinking about money as the be all and end all x
