Turn off friend requests?

Is it possible to turn these off? There is an option to turn PMs on and off (thank you for that) and I was just wondering if there was a similar option I'm missing for Friend requests.

Go into settings, then along the left General Settings, and put a tick in only receive private messages from contacts and moderators.
Don't think you can turn off friend requests.

On a side note, accepting friend requests is no biggie, they don't get any more access to your profile unless you were to put up a private album or something and even then you can still lock it down to whomever you want. It doesn't mean anything other than a how are you, nice to see you here...
