Bullshit........the bland condemnation of all journalists and the media is the same kind of laziness you condemn in journalists.....most things people know comes through journalism.....it's a medium......with all the resonance of that term....

With almost ninety trafficked women selling sex in Galway, local politicians are asked to support new law

My question is; has blurring the lines between agency escorts and independent escorts an allowing everyone to advertise as independent made it easier for the media and torl to make these ridiculous claims?
    "Recent checks have shown..."

What checks? Did they Google 'trafficked prostitutes in Galway' and just add up the totals they found?

How many of these 'poor women' have been 'rescued' by these vigilantes that have 'found' these numbers?

since EI have a monopoly on escorts advertising in ireland id guess they clicked on escorts advertising in galway on that day an got the figures from there.
i agree with ur points but that wasn't my question. my opinion is much the same as rachel divines answer earlier in the thread.

I was posing my own questions based on the link (and thank you by the way).

E-I isn't a monopoly. I've Googled 'escort sites in Ireland' and there are loads of alternative. I think people are confusing the term 'monopoly' with 'strongest Google ranking'.

ur welcome. imo EI isn't a monopoly for escort advertising here in the same way that Google isn't a monopoly in terms of search engines. just my opinion but.
