I agree with Sophie, in some cases the half hour is definitely better, if the chemistry isn't there its gonna be a loooong hour! Im chatty and find it easy to get along with people as it is but as Sophie said you're not always going to click with everyone! I hear what you're saying (or what Ingrid said) and believe me while being skilled at smiling, nodding & agreeing when in my head Im screaming "how on earth is it possible to be so insufferable" has served me well in every aspect of life, this particular occupation takes a lot of energy as it is, finding it in you to also force chat / niceties for an entire hour when the chemistry just isn't there . . .
