So why is it so strange that you think a partner of a punter would go and get checked too if she was to find out. Whether it's an escort, streetwalker or just a random one night stand, she should get checked.

The fact is that this is our living, so we can't afford to be getting STI's. Statistically we are far less likely to be passing anything on than a one night stand or an affair where often condoms are not used.
