I would not pay any fine if they don't have a leg to stand on.
The only problem is you would have to go to court to prove your innocence. It would be a risky game.

Despite innocent until proven guilty, I have to agree I believe you would have to lie to prove innocence.

Evidence would be coming out of a known escort while smiling.
What is any sane person going to think happened?

    I have a little plan.
I am going to run an advert as a washing machine repair man.
I will call the escort on an unknown phone and ask her to call her favourite washing machine repair man (namely me).
I will then call with my tool and go to work.
    Prove I did anything illegal

Might be a little awkward in a hotel room. LOL

They will be using threats and intimidation to get their fine money. It won't go any further unless you refuse to pay the fine and then you may be taken to court and risk your name being mentioned in the media. They are relying on you not wanting that to happen to bleed you dry.

They won't ask you any questions about the sex worker, they won't ask you if she looked trafficked, or happy to be working or ask if you thought she was at risk, because they don't care. They just want their money!

I think it would be wise to have some funds put aside for something like this, so it can be paid quickly if you do get fined, but it's likely to be much less than the maximum.

The whole thing is about fining people. When did charging people money ever stop them from doing what they want? How is that going to help trafficked victims? It is nonsensical, unless you believe it is there to disrupt the lives of sex workers and scare people into stopping. It won't work.
Fines never stopped anyone but depends what your are fining the person for, big difference in fining someone for traffic offences etc and visiting an escort. Its all about naming and shaming here with court appearances etc that's whats people are really afraid of.

I think there would be outrage if the Police were to start giving people's names to the press. Have you ever heard of anyone being named and shamed for a speeding fine? What exactly are you expecting to happen? They may quiz you as to what you have been doing. You say nothing in public. If they take you into their car, then if you want to you can admit to what you have done and accept the fine. What is said in private, stays in private.

I believe they will be using your anonymity as reason to pay the fine and accept your fate. if you want to take it to court (which they won't want you to due to the expense and paper work), then you may get names and shamed. Accept the fine and walk away.

That is how I see it going.

I was caught for speeding some years back and it was published, so its not kept private all the time, I was a fair bit over the limit so my fault.

Its means next year the client will have more vigilant than ever before and at the beginning the cops be out to harass and will clamp down, unfortunately I do see some convictions maybe at the beginning, not many but some and no doubt if it happened it wont stay private i'm afraid.

will it be the case next year of
You don't want to do the time, then don't do the crime

But best not to worry about it as its serves no purpose only stressed us, bigger things happening in the world at present .... The Toy Show was great last night wasn't it

Most likely they will follow some practical measure which will most likely be like in sweden...

    On the the spot fines......

If you argue, dispute, be a nuisance you will end up in court...
Which for most people in this country is serious...

You might argue you were there for a massage...

But they know and you know you were there for a blowjob etc

    The solution...

It would be inteireisting to know what thei eicumbent pimp has to say conceirning the eire pimp moving in on their teirrortory wheire theiy havei madei a big fortunei oveir the last deicade or so (fair deiuce anall)

Being more vigilant is a good thing. For those that are willing to take a risk on seeing a girl, even though he thinks her pics are a bit dodgy, or the location is very well known, then that is his choice and he takes that risk with his eyes wide open. Those that are careful to go to girls they know work for themselves, go to places that are not well known or over used and are discreet with the whole booking from start to finish, then they should be okay.

The Police will go for the obvious first. Why make life easy for them?

The risks are great even if you are single but worse if you got a wife or girlfriend and this is Ireland remember after all and everybody lives in each other pockets anyway.
As for even visiting an established lady, most clients will be on edge for obvious reasons, at the end of the day its the client that will pay not the Escort if he is unlucky enough to be caught. That's the reality of it.
