Cancelling an appointment at short notice is understandable, but three in a row is unacceptable really. With all due respect to your client and all the things that may or may not be going on in his work/personal life I would think that after the first two cancellations he would hold off making an appointment again until he was 100% certain he would actually make it.

The "Three Strikes and You're Out" rule makes sense to me so fair play. Just one question though, did you let the client know your position on this matter when he was making his latest booking??? If you did then he knew the consequences of the third cancellation and chose to accept them. End of story.

I was simply pissed off that a once regular client became a timewaster, it happens occasionally and it is annoying when it happens but I'm passed it, I more than made up for it in the end
