That is a total shame! People like her should not be given any form of power when they are not interested in listening to all sides of a situation.

that's typical of the clowns that are running the country at the moment, they are so out of touch with reality, its almost comical. its obvious that the people running our country don't give a damn about its people, they don't give a shit about us, so long as we pay our taxes. enda and his cronies are in for an awful shock come the next election.

Sent out a press release last night after the meeting. I can't take calls but will check in with the other girls if they've received anything.

Even though it was a negative and fruitless meeting with the Minister based on what you've described of how the argument took turn, to get something you want it takes time and patience. I'm talking in general, I don't know the full scale of how long it's been on going. But I despise that character that dismisses even the smallest of thing or the greatest. When one walks in with a situation I can't take sides, regardless of what I might personally think of that specific situation. I have to look at things in the perspective of the person who's carrying the load.

Don't give up and keep trying. The water charges is a great example of what determination is (aside from the difference of topics, nonetheless it is a situation that got dealt with).
I'm not crazy. I prefer the term mentally hilarious.

I am relying on the government falling apart about the water charges, before they can introduce this ridiculous idea.

I have some ideas up my sleeve. I will be putting up another thread with a model letter of TDs and senators to write to. They will need to be typed up and sent per post. I will need people to then follow up and ring these people. The letters content will not need to out people, although if sex workers could give a fake name and explain how the law will negatively impact them and request for them to reconsider the law and look towards the New Zealand as an alternative. We don't want Germany or Holland, as those laws are less than ideal. These letters will need to be posted as TDs and senators take those more seriously than e-mails. I am going to try and request meetings with people via this method and go from there.

Unfortunately TORL has money on their side and have paid staff to campaign on this since 2011.
