It is really irritating to read that people are so quick to sum and conclude things on behalf of others. I personally enjoy what I do, not just for the pleasurable experiences but the pleasure I am giving others.

On the subject of "putting on a performance" I would say it would differ from lady to lady and life's natural circumstances at the time. Yes people can have bad days and as such they can not always enjoy every single experience. The most important thing for me is an enjoyment in giving pleasure; in a normal relationship, a partner may "put on a performance" from time to time for the pleasure of the other partner.

Guys generally come to see me because it's cleaner than having an affair where they don't have to deal with problematic attachments and texts etc that could develop.

Interesting question, but a lot of stupid things in that article too.
I’ve asked punters the same three questions: would you tell your fiancée or your mother that you’ve paid for sex; would you want your mother, sister or daughter to sell their bodies; and would you consider dating a prostitute and marrying her? The answer has always been no, no and no. See the disconnect?
There's always one exception anyway. I'd answer no, yes if that's what works for them, and OH GOD YES PLEASE.
Why do these men choose to disconnect their emotions from their bodies – just as prostitutes do – for the sake of a fleeting thrill?
Disconnect their emotions from their bodies? What does this mean, have sex with someone you don't know? That's like asking why men (or women) like casual sex or one night stands. It's enjoyable, it's biology.
It’s not really good for men’s sexuality to become habituated to the instant gratification that prostitutes are adept at because they want to make the physical interaction as brief as possible. It isn’t terrific for male performance in the long-run, sex therapists say, because men hooked on a fast intense experience are at risk of erectile dysfunction in ordinary situations.
No one who saw my sexual performance before and after I started seeing escorts would say that. How could lots of practice fail to make someone better?
greatest deterrent was public shaming – more than arrest or even a jail sentence. Does this not show they feel they are doing something wrong?
No, it shows that a many people disapprove of it, not that it's wrong. It shows that people can lose jobs and friends and all sorts of things. Did gay people throughout history who stayed in the closet know being gay was wrong, or did they hide it because they knew there would be consequences?
Criminalising the buyers of sex, some of them say casually, would stop them from using prostitutes – but they don’t see it as a problem. It just doesn’t seem to matter that much to them, and isn’t that a telling point? This sort of sex is seen as dispensable, and consequently, so is the humanity of everyone involved in the transaction.
Lots of things are dispensable. Going to the cinema, having a massage, going to the pub on tuesdays. Does that mean the humanity of everyone going to the pub is dispensable?
This lady can take any finding at all and try to make it a moral argument against sex work. Clients say they enjoy a drink with an escort, doesn't this prove the need alcohol to mask the guilt they feel? Clients say they even have a drink with an escort, doesn't this show they don't respect her like they would a regular women? Clients wear pants, doesn't this show that they are ashamed of their genitals after they started seeing escorts? Clients say it's raining outside, therefore prostitution is wrong.
At the end of the day it is still sex and its not much of a performance but just what sex is. Nothing complicated about it.
Well now, I've "formed stable relationships with women in the "real world", and they have put on performances for me as well. It's part of the biology, to keep us interested by flattering us. The ancient Hebrew thinkers believed that men are the weaker sex, because we are so easily led.
Any time an escort has left an actual puddle on the bed with me, a rare event, there's a giggle but it's no big deal. There's 10 good reasons it happened that day and none are to do with me. More than likely they were thinking about their next pair of Louboutins
Mmmm-hmm
