Default Bizarre anti prostitution radio ad

just heard this ad just before the one o'clock news on rte radio 1, it was the sound of a man and a woman arguing and a voice over was saying it was a pimp punishing one of his women for not satisfying a client and losing him money. No organisation was mentioned. Did anyone else hear it or was I imagining the whole thing?

And probably half the listeners believed it was a real argument that was recorded, and not done by actors.

So how many nosey neighbours will be calling the guards when they hear raised voices from next door and add 2 and 2 together?

Here it is in all it's glory:

    2014 in Northern Ireland:

Number of reported attacks on sex workers 70

Number of sex trafficking cases ZERO

How the public are supposed to know the difference between domestic violence and the stereotyped violent pimp is anyone's guess.

The point is of course to suggest that all sex workers are somehow coerced or under threat, when the fact is that most are there by choice. Letting the public know the truth is the last thing TORL want.

Strange though that Westminster threw this stuff out of court last week. Apparently actual evidence and the views of sex workers were more important than some cash-greedy NGOs propaganda. Imagine that.
