It works in the same way as amyl nitrate...it screws your blood pressure. That's why both are used as heart medicines. St Johns Wort was banned cos the concentration of it isn't regulated...can be really nasty in the wrong dose

I've done poppers myself, but a 10 years ago and not with an escort.
I didn't like them much as they gave me headaches and so I stopped.
