No one would expect you to feel any other way. Personally I feel so disillusioned with the Country that I was born in most of the time, it is very hard to feel proud, but today they finally did something that I am proud of. It's not a political statement, or to mean that it's better to be English than Irish, as I adore the Irish. I'm simply proud that they have not been taken in by a load of nuns and guff and seen sense for a change. Hopefully Ireland will come to the same decision.

Some good news for a change. Too bad sexual policies in Ireland are driven by ignorance and prejudice.
    2014 in Northern Ireland:

Number of reported attacks on sex workers 70

Number of sex trafficking cases ZERO

Oh no. Lord Morrow's Bill still has to complete all its stages in the legislature, but at this stage it looks likely to succeed.

Scotland voted some years ago to reject the Swedish Model. The Modern Slavery Bill at Westminster had amendments added to introduce the Swedish Model; these were withdrawn, so this model won't be introduced in UK apart from N Ireland. Some MPs had—gasp!—actually spoken to sex workers, and taken their views on board.
