Just going through the forum here and there's so much concern about the possibility of ROI following suit with the new legislation in the North. Maybe I'm missing something but I can only see this being enforced with street prostitution - how on earth can it be proved that a guy in a hotel room has paid a girl? Unless a policeman is actually there and sees money being handed over how can they disprove 'oh she's my fb {fuck buddy - technically true} or we are having an affair etc? Unless someone has tipped police off about a working girl why would they even bother trying to find guys going into hotels? I just dont see what the panic is. I dunno alll the threads about it has me thinking maybe I should be worried but Im not in the least! If you were to worry about all the things that might happen you'd never step outside the door!!

Probably the same way they have been doing it in Sweden, where they know of a known Sex Worker and approach the client as he leaves in a public place and start questioning him. Out of sheer embarrassment and worry that he may get named by the media or worse convicted, he will pay a fine, which also means his name is recorded, so a second offense may mean more.

It might just be a way of bringing in more money, like they did initially with the speed cameras, but if they make a lot of money, then they will put the resources there, so best to take care.
