Look lads it's the Irish way - talk around the subject for ages and do the cheapest most effective solution - they don't care about the girls or the clients- by bringing in the law they want to scare away the average punter and thus decimate the industry in Ireland - simple - probably will invest enough resources to doa few prosecutions ! This is also what I've imagined their thinking on the subject to be. If this legislation does go through, they will almost undoubtedly 'make an example' of a few very unlucky gents (and ladies too), making sure the cameras are there as they're marched out of the apartment after being caught 'with their pants down'-- both figuratively and literally. There will news coverage of the court proceedings and sentencing as well, all to get the message out that this is what could happen to YOU the punter, should you choose to go visit escorts. The supports of the TORL campaign will demand at least this much be done after/if the legislation goes through to make their demands 'justified' in their own warped minds.
