It is opposed by the Official Unionists and the Alliance Party, so the DUP requires Sinn Fein’s support.
It looks like they will get Sinn Fein’s support.

Sinn Fein looks eager to be seen in the North as supporting Roman Catholic Doctrine on sex, especially since they have been forced to take a pro-choice stance on abortion to avoid alienating their left wing Southern voters.
Voting for Lord Morrow's bill will help to placate some of their right-wing members in the North.

Yes steve, if it goes through in the north and it will as sinn fein will indeed support it, then it will only further cement the justice minister's stance on it here so will be pushed through.

It's remarkable that SF are siding with the RC church, an organisation responsible for infinitely more abuse than the sex trade here could even dream of and the homophobes and creationists of the DUP.

SF know the facts yet are basically throwing sex workers under the bus to placate a small section of their electorate. I hope they're proud of their 'principled' stance.
