The cop must have thought it was the carrot that the person needed to get what he wanted. The cop is not caring about getting the right information, as much as having the right person willing to stand up in court and say what he wants. It is corrupt, but it's not about the drugs in my eyes.

It's well known that a lot of Doctors survive with their work load by taking drugs. I'm aware of ppl in very high profile, high earning jobs that function on heroine. It's the withdrawals that make people unable to manage, not the taking of the drug, so if it is maintained, then people can and do function on them. The only way a drug taker would be an unreliable source of information, is if they were not able to maintain their addiction and it is that which makes them vulnerable and it is that which I was relating to.

Anyone who could afford their addiction would not be susceptible to a bent cop offering them drugs.

Is the sex worker taking or dependent on a mind altering drug? If she is, then I would say listen, but take it into consideration. For instance, Rachel Moran was a street worker (so she says) who was a drug addict. I do wonder how much truth is in her novel, as her new addiction seems to be promoting her book. She seems to remember things that others on the street at the time (who were not taking drugs) have no recollection of at all.

Anybody who has lived any amount of time here, who does not realize that the concept of being equal before the law in Ireland is just an extremely sick joke is either a profound simpleton or frighteningly lacking in social nuance!
When, as seems inevitable that the Swedish model law is brought in here (officially to protect sex workers but in reality destroying them!) you will find the great and the good punters will be never be prosecuted under it (even if caught with every trafficked woman on the island) whereas regular punters having absolutely consensual sex with willing sex workers will be in serious trouble!
    Ride them on the beaches!
