Yes. I drive a Smart Car
All sarcasm aside, apparently there is a correlation. It would seem psychologically, the bigger the ego, the flashier the car and it's usually to compensate for a lack of something in their life.
I don't even watch Top Gear. No interest.

Sorry, when I say 'compensate for a lack of something', I meant generally anything in their life that makes them feel inadequate, not necessarily their appendage.
I would never spend €60,000 more than I would have to on anything, by the way! I'm a practical person, not a flashy person. Besides, I don't have €60,000.

What about when one of my guys wants to flash out 70k ? (In my name . We already been there , done that)
I'm perfectly happy with my current Lex , but now he wants upgrade me to the latests greatest Lexus of 2014 .
Test drove it , it's gimmicky , looks like / feels like a car that wanna be an SUV.
My current is an actual Lex SUV . I like it.
Is the latest greatest always the best ?
Or is there something to be said for the tried and true and faithful ? Love my wheels !
.
