This beard thing apparently is something to do with certain men wanting to be seen as 'hipsters'. There was a fashion for moustaches back in the seventies and eighties and that passed, this too will pass when these hipsters finally realise that beards are scruffy and hold crumbs and soup. Some just look like a dead badger....Roy Keane anyone?.???
