Spitting

Recently I have noticed a few people walking along the street spitting. I can't help it, but it really makes me cringe and they don't seem to bat an eyelid.

Am I being over sensitive? Is spitting in the street acceptable? Do you spit? Have we become a nation of spitters and nobody told me about it?

I can't help it, but I really don't like it and I'm not talking erotic spitting, I'm talking hacking back and spitting phlegm onto the street!

Knackers always spat.... they see footballers doing it during games so they think that the effort involved in being a scumbag is similar and hence its required.
