People here seem to talk about 'respect' as if it a tactic to get what you want rather than how you actually feel - I'd hope people have real respect for each other- but....

Wrong. That is an opinion. MY opinion. Big difference between having an opinion and passing judgement. I think I know my own mind better than you in fairness.

The difference between yourself and the Escort is that you would not voice that opinion to anyone and I'm assuming you would not treat them differently for their actions, whilst still disapproving. It is still a judgement though.

The hypocrisy and the rush to judge others on this website is unreal

on many occasions I was asked my age, maybe for legal purposes and what I work at and if I have a girlfriend.
Its usually just small talk and I don't think she is being nosy and so he doesn't bother me at all

I know what you mean, I ask questions to help break the ice but I do try to stay away from certain subjects until I get to know them a little better where I can suss out whether or not they would be offended or not with certain things but I never judge them for being married or whatever x

    What does respect mean ?

Do we alway like or respect someone when money is involved ?

We would be stupid to think everyone we met holds us in high regard.

However common courtesy and politeness as part of the fabric of a civilised society no matter what one's status or job is.

If a doctor has a fat patient who has had a hear attack, or a heavy drink who he is treating for liver problems, or a lawyer representing a client should he judge him or treat him and not judge him...
