Google Yourself?
Well last night i was in the Chat room and i heard an interesting story that made me think! What if? So i put a few of the lads and ladies names who are well known on this website into Google and Bingo,There we are, for the whole world to see.
When i informed a few of the others what had happened they were shocked, ok people don't actually know who you are but they really felt uncomfortable with the amount of exposure that this showed up.
One guy remarked that he uses the same user name in a lot of websites and it was all in front of him,"This is the last thing i need" he messaged to me, and there is absolutely nothing he could do about it.
The names that went unnoticed were the short and simple ones, but as soon as you become creative, and add a few numbers you might as well just give your name and number to the world.
So for future reference, keep the user names short and simple, and don't repeat them on other sites. As we all know Big brother is watching you.
