Everyone gets depressed but there is only one person who is in charge of what we think and feel and that oneself! But those who need a little help here is a help link to watch and listen to if anyone is having a bad time at the mow or just need to wind down and distress

I have never been depressed and can't get my head around the condition.
I just don't understand it, I have days where I get pissed off for various reasons, but a happy camper after an hour or so at most.
Any serious issues I deal with logically and can always see the good side to things.
I know people who suffer from it and have seen them suffer.
Apparently saying "Cheer up" does not help

I try and look on the bright side of life and look on the positive. Laughing is good I find.
so laid back I'm always lying down.
Depression is a serious condition and anyone who suffers it should try and talk to their GP. You doctor can help find a treatment that is right for you, treatment varies from person to person. For real depression a run or visiting an escort is not the solution you need professional help and also to be aware that depression is an unfortunate but normal condition and nothing to be ashamed of..
Sorry if this sounded patronising and dramatic. See links below.

'How does someone get a referral to Pieta House?
You can ring up and make an appointment for yourself. Alternatively, someone else can make an appointment for you. That person could be your partner, parent, friend, colleague or school counsellor. You don’t need a doctor’s referral or have a psychiatric report already.'

life is a gamble for all, depressed and non-depressed.
depressed people don't want to take any chances so focus on negativity and sadness
everywhere they look (and find it). this is how i see it.

It that kind of ignorance that helps in the rise of suicides in this country. Depression is different from being pessimistic, lazy, negative or a party pooper. It is a chemical imbalance in the brain, a fact long established. It's unfortunate that you are unaware and still living in the dark ages.
