I agree that's why I qualifies by real depression. But I would also say feeling sad, upset or fed up is just that, it is not depressed. Either way my post was to inform and help. I loose nothing if the original poster is just down rather than depressed and if they are depressed I can only hope they look for help. Anyway I won't change the ignorance by posting here so I will leave it at that.

thats right, depression is about an apathy for life, thats the underlying condition, its cornerstone apathy is basically a "who gives a fuck " style paraphrasing of the "why bother "
and not just "no one actually gives a fuck about me" its more of a "I dont give a fuck about anything/anyone else"
