And there are few more French actors who made it in Hollywood, such as Alain Delon,Jean Reno, Olivier Martinez, Gerard Depardieu, Christopher Lambert, Lambert Wilson...
These are just the one that came on the top of my head.
As far as the French actors and all the French speaking one as well are concerned, they don't really need to go to Hollywood to have a career because the film industry is quiet big, recognized and appreciate.
Making it in Hollywood is certainly a big help(financial?) and an elevation in status but by no mean a must .
The same applies to other countries such as Britain who has a huge amount of extremely talented and successful actors who are completely unknown in the states .
