    they dont come because i suspect there isnt a market for them there. Yes there is you and others, but not enough i speculate to make a visit worthwhile. The city needs to be built up. You can tell the size of a city and its population by the number of big shopping centers in the city. Bar corbett court which is pretty small, galway doesnt have a shopping center. (the one opposite the cinema is tiny)

    limerick is an old city and they done it up nicely. I still stand by my arguments that galway still has that large town vibe about it. Eyre square is tiny. Shop street is tiny. needs a bit of investment
