I really really wish it was a joke

Saw U2 lots of times, dire staights, bruce, Wacko Jacko, Queen, Phil Collins, The Eagles but music aside I stand by my comments, for entertainment value or the drugs they were pumping thru the ventilation it was a brilliant concert

And then you woke up and it was all a terrible nightmare.........bit like whats going on in India right now.........

Manics are brilliant, Stereophonics, Editors, Foo Fighter, Muse, Oasis, Primal Scream, Robert Palmer, Cold Play, Razor Light, Take that, Kaiser Chiefs, K.T Tunstall, Paul Weller, The Verve..........Out of this world, Blur, Ian Brown........fabulous, Block Party, Just a few of the concerts that i have been to and loved........although one of them ...........

Well one of them i used to live with for about a year and he wrote a song for me - you would have to guess which one, give you a clue, he is now sadly dead......

Metallica are always great all 9 times i've seen them . U2 2nd gig in slane was a belter , incredible atmosphere due to the sad circumstances surrounding the gig and the elation of Ireland qualifying for the 2002 world cup earlier that day . Springsteen gig is top notch also

Personally, I have grown to dislike the really big arena type concerts, theres nothing worse than paying your cash and having to watch it on a giant TV!
Even Radiohead at Malahide castle suffered from that (Top band though)

Now I prefer places like Vicar Street - only couple of hundred people and then you get the atmosphere

Best recent gig was the backroom at The Lantern, Navan
Kila (amazing live), The Coronas, and my fave irish band - The Flaws

The Boss was also pretty special when he played the Point, on his seegar sessions tour
So good, they released it on DVD and you can see me doing a guitar solo with him!

Other than that, Madness in Belfast are always good at xmas

I have been to many private gigs twhere the Coronas have played and they are fucking terrible..Nice guys however but shit..They will never take off
