We as clients should have a system like the escorts do called ugly mugs? Which would name and shame such goings on or at least try to? But as we're not paying e-i anything that will never happen and if you did name and shame on open forum the thread would be deleted pronto and client would get a ban.So hope no body else falls for this scam?

Excellent suggestion, and I've often wondered why the E-I community doesn't provide such a section for clients. If I understand correctly then along with 'Uglymugs' the ladies here have their own privileged 'beyond client access' forum area where they openly relay whatever they feel pertinent about relevant clientele. Meanwhile the guys are left to resort to raging aimlessly on the public forums ... which always works out well.

its a pitty the review system is so dysfunctionall and biased toowards ecscorts. if it was a properly run review system that wud be enough imo.

This is totally for the birds and I can't imagine any Escort with these rules and regulations will survive the next two months in Ireland

However, I do remember an Escort about six or seven years ago saying she would only see me or any other new clients if I got a reference from another escort

I hear ya. Unfortunately if you spend any amount of time reading threads from previous years on E-I you'll see that the review system has been getting progressively worse, no matter the outcry. The only viable option seems to be a 'two state solution' with equally privileged private forums for both groups. I'm sure the ladies have their own way of monitoring and recognising fellow escorts with vendettas so why shouldn't we clients be able to do the same?

Im a bit shocked that a photo was asked of you, regardless of who asked it. I have never been asked for phone credit as a deposit either, but that in itself I can understand.

Why would any escort require a photo of a client? Its ridiculous. For what purpose.

The client in question had a good track record of reviews. She took the credit and ran.... Do you condone this?

I personally think this is scandalous.

I don't know the full facts but if the guy engaged with the escort , signed up to her ludicrous pre-conditions and then backs out subsequently having taken up some of her time , then yes he forfeits his phone credit. I think I know the lady concerned and if I am correct then she tried it on me. Frankly, I found the idea of queuing up in a shop to buy credits absolutely preposterous and the photo pre-condition just a laugh. I think I remember there being some support here though for the phone credit pre - condition.

I had a client who accidentally underpaid me today by €10. The matter was easily resolved by asking him to send me the value in phone credit. It can be a very easy and effective way of getting some piece of mind. Most time wasters do not want to part with their money, at any point of their time wasting. A real client will either have some history that can be produced, or as a newbie will appreciate they are a risk financially.
