I had one guy do this while the cleaning staff were in the corridor, just to check if the number was right - despite telling him the room number when he confirmed the appointment (admittedly rookie mistake to give him that info when he confirmed though.)

Clients should not call at reception as you don't know who could be listening in - and you need to be paranoid in this business.
Give me a call 083 455 2811 or PM to book in advance

Not something id do (Wait till im inside and on the radar before calling).
Im a ring when im still in the car kinda guy so im sure I know the room number AND the route from the lobby to the lifts to ensure against the rabbit in the headlights syndrome that can ensue once youre in an unfamiliar place with the blood already rushed to somewhere other than the brain!
But then again I HATE hotel appointments so im just the opposite.......Id prefer breadcrumbs dropped for me to follow so as to get in and get out with the minimum of eye contact or attention.

I know theres no big deal in reality about hotels once youre clear about where youre goin...but regardless I prefer to steer clear of em (One of my fav ladies tends to switch between apartments and hotels and I rarely see her anymore for that reason)

I have only visited a lady in a hotel twice. I would not enter the grounds until I contacted the lady — I would want to know were I an going so as to look to the staff that I should be there!

Specifically remember an incident in Limerick about three years ago when I had to spend a fair bit of time consoling a girl after a client had just been into reception in the hotel asked where is the escort working?

Needless to say she got the boot fairly quickly and I called her as she was in the process of booking another hotel

Lots of idiots in this country if ours... Even though I was meeting a girl last week in a Limerick hotel and here room was right beside an office in the hotel with a woman working in it. Obviously I didn't knock on the door but I looked so obvious turning back around ... I was scarlet... But maybe that's a guilty conscious ...

I really don't know how you ladies actually put up with some of the dumb ass things some clients get up to - you must have the patience of job!

Met a lady a while ago staying in a hotel which had an underground car park. To exit the car park you have to get a little disc / coin for the machine from the reception. Parking is free for residents, non residents have to pay. She told me that she had a client, who when at reception refused to pay for the parking, she had called him after he left to ensure he got out ok. When asked what room he was staying he in, he said that he wasn't a guest and had been visiting an escort working in the hotel and that he should get her parking privileges as she didn't drive. He must have realised his stupidity as he refused to give her room number to reception, but still what an idiot.

Or who makes a booking then again instead of waiting till one can see them as agreed but comes into the hotel and then proceeds to make the call to the girl they are going to meet up with while standing next to reception. Explaining he is in the lobby and which room number are you in!

This has happened to me now 5 times in 2 days so wondering what you girls do or if any foolish guys do this or what you think about what I would call fools?
Really what part of discreet don’t they understand, they may have just taken out a page in the Irish Independent News paper!!! Of course I told them to feck off home!

hope you all have a great start to your working week, all the best Lady Von Teese
Both these situations are quite bad definitely. Can only think that they are either over confident or really nervous. Being nervous can make people do stupid things ( I know I have done some when nervous )

If the lady has given clear instructions on how to proceed towards the hotel room or apartment then they should be followed and not what suits you as the client. Respect and discretion for the ladies at all times.
