The situation in Gaza has become nothing more than the Palestinians being murdered and slaughtered by Israel. There is defending yourself as Israel says but these people are being murdered , and the international community with all there great words are letting it happen. We could debate why all year.

I have stopped watching the reports on the television when they come on , it's to disturbing. John Snow who for those of you that don't know him is a news legend on Channel 4 , he took it upon himself to go to Israel and report live from there and show the world what is going on.

They took a camera crew into one of the hospitals to show the injuries , it was horrific. And there was sadness and dis belief in his eyes that this was allowed to happen. It was some of the most honest reporting and from someone that felt it had to be done to show the world.

Its like here. You drive down Pembroke Street towards Ballsbridge , and at the end is the Israelis Embassy. Bigger Garda presence and crash barriers in piles ready for the protests.

We shouldn't be protecting them we should be expelling them.

Israel are playing the propaganda and the media.

I think everyone should watch " Jon Snow returns from Gaza " on you tube. It cannot be posted here because it has images of the fate of the children there.

His passion for reporting the truth and the facts make him the person he is.

Its a report on the visit he has just made to Gaza in the last week.

Not nice to watch on a Sunday , but it will make you appreciate how safe we are here.

True and that's what puts Presidents in power. It's the same with the Irish , you ever wonder why the Presidents come here ? Political gain and votes back home. 40 million voters claim to be Irish. Every American President that has visited Ireland always gets a second term.

Now before anyone beings up JFK those were exceptional circumstances.

But they do also come for personal reasons to.

There is a window for Obama to act he is not to far into his second term that it would not damage maybe his successor.

I had a convesation with a Religious "Buff" but a straight talking sensible type about religion (as an example) & I said to him "Tell me how come Religion has spilt more blood then WW1 & WW2 plus other conflicts Vietnam, Korea etc put together & possibly before them aswell" & he rightly said (In my mind) "Aaaaa yes but that because their following the MAN (fanatic) & not the words of the man above GOD, if they ALL DID they would have been none" ...

Anyway dont know Steph. but times never change only people .... Man is a natural preditor ..... some hands/brains create & these same hands/brains can distroy ...
