Thread: The obvious punter

  1. Default The obvious punter

Sorry don't like the word punter, prefer client.

Was getting petrol on Saturday afternoon in a garage beside an apartment block I know ladies use, it was a couple of minutes to the hour. Saw a guy across the road from the block on his phone. He hangs up and paces up and down, walks around the corner. I go in and pay for the fuel. When I come out he reappears, checking his phone, continues to pace back and forth nervously, checks his phone again. He answers a call, walks across the road to the apartment block, proceeds to a door, appears to be struggling with the keypad, the whole time his phone stuck to his ear. He eventually gets the door open and disappears inside. Hope he had fun because he looked as nervous as hell.

and people wonder why places get raided. You were getting petrol. Imagine what people living in the apt were thinking?

    Westside.

Things are not always what they seem!

A few months back a mate of mine bought a camera lens on Done Deal! The seller said he could post it but wanted to insure it as it was expensive or have my mate collect it himself. He wanted to pick it up but didn't know the area well. As it happened I did as I have visited a few ladies there.

So I arrive the the apartments, I had the sellers address and I knew where I was going but I wanted to contact my mate first about something. I had no reception so I am wandering around waiting for my phone to join the network.

I eventually get through to my mate and he decides to give me a list of things to check on the lens. I am now walking towards the apartment building with a phone to my ear. When I get to the door my mate is still yacking on about the lens and the case while I struggle with the code and bell while holding the phone listening to my mate.

The seller answers the bell and let's me in. I then tell my mate I'm almost there and if I have any questions I will ring him. I must have been in the sellers apartment for at least 20 minutes as he had an amazing camera setup and I was interested to see it. I checked the lens, paid the seller and left.

Now, in hindsight I must have looked like a right wally outside and if someone was looking for an obvious punter I probably looked like him! However if they heard my conversation they would have a totally different idea!

Not everyone who enters an apartment block holding a phone to their ear is a punter

The escorts should text directions and codes,I agree it is rediculous having punters making you call you from the main door or gate....

It is very easy to spot a punter walking around looking lost with a phone to his ear. You can spot them a mile off.

I would much rather receive a text with directions than be told 'ring me' when you get to a certain spot.

Have to say its always better to get a text or do the contacting either in your car or away from apartment block. Then walk up with a certain confidence to gate/door. On occasions I have been lucky and met someone coming out of the door/gate and so just walked straight in.

Happens to us all and I'm sure with all the new apartment complexes built in recent years, clients aren't the only ones who get lost and need the details of how gain enterance

Like the op, it regularly is my first thought when I see someone hanging around a "familiar" place. That's just because we are perverted lol

Agree with the other comments made though, directions, guide to opening main door and the apartment number should all be in a text ideally

I guess to a certain degree it takes one to know one...

At the same time though, this is one of my least favourite parts of punting (clienting ?), especially when the girls english isn't great or you can't park nearby or they send you initially to a house on the other side of the street.

Punters do come in all shapes and sizes, but they are easy to spot. Just look for the obvious facial expressions:
