We are not Vulcans. No human debate is entirely rational. Humans seek allies and argue ad hominem, that is our way. The good thing about White knights is they are so obvious. If you want to take part in human debate, be like the duck - let the crap pass you by like water off a ducks back. Stick to your own purpose in being here.

Authenticity is something you achieve, not something you are entitled to. Since you are the main beneficiary of it, why should others help you achieve it, except where there happens to be there a spontaneous synchronicity ? And if there was, wouldn't that make you part of the gang again ? Its not all good, but some of it is.
This may not be the worse forum, but do other forums have their working reputation on the line when people choose to slander them? It's not just a matter of getting personal for the Escorts, but it can damage their work or safety in some cases and for the clients it may cause them undue problems getting bookings. Regardless of what people say, I do think mud sticks.

I always enjoy reading a thread where people have different view points so long as its logically discussed I tend to skip through insults and read decent parts of the debate and then add my opinion by no means is my opinion swayed if a so called 'friend' has a differing opinion. Is this so hard to accept that people don't always share the same opinion?

It just gets a bit tiresome being judged because of having an opinion.

I am not ever going to be part of a sheep like arena where I just agree with something or disagree because I have an agenda.

Do any other posters notice this going on and what do you think?
    Xxx
There is a theory called Spiral of silence which observes the fact that " one opinion becomes dominant as those who perceive their opinion to be in the minority do not speak up because society threatens individuals with fear of isolation."
When someone perceives his/her opinion as in the minority, he/she tends to omit or even change it. Humans fear social isolation and want to be part of strong groups, those which will win, the majority (even so, in researches there is always 5% of individuals who do not omit or change opinions: they tend to be the opinion leaders).

You have completely misunderstood what I was saying firstly I wasn't running the forum down and secondly I write posts which are then taken in defends of friends in fact often friends who I don't even have a clue about as I have never even met them and possibly not even had any contact with as well as thanking posts I agree with rather than doing it with some bias in mind.

The sheep category does not involve gangs what it does involve are people putting other people in this category based on what they post. I don't post to try and be malicious or make trouble and I honestly don't wish to be in a gang.

The social psychology group studies were to try and establish minimalist groups who had nothing in common this could be a cause of prejudice. However people tend to move in social groups if it betters there life somehow or has advantages for them. In fact people are said to be part of several groups in their lifetime changing them for power and other reasons. This is a forum a little different and social psychology is only one perspective there are arguments from other branches of psychology which dissect social psychology in many ways.

This thread was never started to be bitchy or to cause trouble merely to point out that my opinions are mine and not swayed because of someone else's opinion or because I'm sticking up for someone. Xx

Well Alyssa, if I misconstrue you, its unintentional. :-) However, the concept of a 'sheep mentality' is a pejorative description of a structure of debate on this site, that I don't see changing, here or elsewhere in society. But as you seem a strong, independent individual, is it really any more than annoyingly human ? A bit like clients who don't dry themselves properly after a shower.

Sweetie I'm sure you are a really lovely person but you and I won't really be able to debate properly because you don't really read fully what is being written you take snippets of information and analyse those incorrectly. I can't reply to you anymore because you don't understand what I'm talking about at all to begin with.
You are on defensive mode and I'm unsure why but we shall leave that for another day.

I have noticed you did this on another thread I posted to where I was debating with Kate instead of taking the topic being discussed you took snippets and made you own conclusion and declared that to the forum claiming I has said something which technically I hadn't said any person out there can take quotes from a post and change them around in meaning to suit themselves and if that makes you happy that's wonderful, however yes I am a strong and independent lady and I'm not going to allow you to twist my words to suit you.

Have a wonderful day and take care xx
