I remember my uni days , Spring Break in Fla , Mex , etc. Lots of drinking , and maybe a wet tshirt contest or two.

Great article, and a valid point - slut is hardly a pejorative when hurled at a bloke.

But look at the comments on that article:
"Those women seem to have done a fine job shaming themselves before the press got involved imho"
Along with dozens of other comments of a similar almost misogynistic slant; admittedly some of the comments are somewhat more balanced, but some just beggar belief.

So the girl involved as had her name trawled through the mud, and will be stigmatized for her behaviour same as the lass at the Eminem gig but the lads involved are essential anonymous.

I've done many a Spring Breaks , and never ever have witnessed anything of this sort.

Maybe I wasn't hanging at the 'working class' joints.


:rolleyes : at 'working class' distinction . 'Slutty behaviour' is just that : slutty behaviour , regardless if done in a

spit on the floor bar or at a high end hotel. But it seems to me that 'common behaviour' seems more common

amongst 'common people'. Whatever nationality.

It is sad though that the 'boys will be boys' is still alive and well all across , all through all nationalities and their

Exception to the 'boys will be boys' , perhaps , is Sweden , where they want to 'outlaw' boys peeing standing.
