Why was this not all discussed last year?? I feel for the residents I really do but why was it left to the eleventh hour??

The promoter knew that the allowed number of concerts had been used for the year so held off till last minute to apply for the licence in the hope that the council would "give in" to his request as 400k of innocent people would be disappointed if the concerts did not go ahead!

It was purely down to greed!

Many of the concert goers would have visited escorts either before or after the concert.
I hope thy take that into consideration when calculating the loss to the economy.

So typically Irish. Tickets are sold, and then permission looked for. Millions now lost in revenue, but the person who made the call, as in the county manager, keeps his highly paid, over pensioned position. And we wonder why we had a banking crisis.
