I'd say half the stats are escorts reading other escorts Reviews..

It worked because everyone was on a level footing.

Sure, the review mongers would scream for a while, but they'd get used to it.

Why would it not suit this website? And how can you be certain it wouldn't?

You don't know what stats we have and that is just speculation

All would happen is that more people would start speculating on the forums as an alternative to the reviews system. We get 400+ reviews a week, so it's a case of 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it'. I agree that the reviews system is flawed but I don't think abolishing it would solve any problems. I also don't think it would put people on a 'level playing field' either. Peoples' preferences wouldn't suddenly change because there is no reviews system; for example, a guy wouldn't start going to a young Eastern European woman if he had a preference for mature Irish women.

Well, if the Nordic model comes into play, we might find out

I base my visits on the reviews I read.
Yes, some times I need to read between the lines.
But reviews do give insight as to what favourites really are available.
Without reviews I probably wouldn't waste as much time here.
It would probably be no harm and be easier on my pocket too

Remove the narrative field and add a few more tick boxes.
The narrative field is based on very personal experiences and may not be the next clients experience due to many factors.
Thus making the reviews more clinical and you can choose based on whether or not she is as advertised,
Personally I do not encourage reviews and have on several occasions refused forum members bookings due to the fact that they have said I hope I geta good Service as I will be leaving a review. All my clients get the same Service whether they will be reviewing or not and encourage them not to be bothered wasting their time . Their review to me is return visit .
Some people have to have the last word,
but they don't actually want you to stop talking,
as they like the sound of their own voices too much.

I agree to an extent, but the narrative field makes all the difference between generalising and clarifying a somewhat complicated situation. That's why we don't have a 'Rate out of 10' system.

Yes but it is just that individuals personal experience. Other than that reduce the amount of words that can be written there is some drival in far to many of the reviews.

Same for me. I find the reviews very helpful overall. Of course there are BS reviews at times but I think you learn to spot them after a while.
I'm not quite clear on what the actual problem is. If I understand correctly the real issues here are
    1. Identity verification of the reviewer ( is the person submitting the review a genuine user or a fake account) - this is quite difficult to start with as this site of course "requires" a certain level of anonymity.
    2. Is a submitted review genuine (even if the identity is verified)? or is the review itself fake (positive or negative) and done for ulterior motives. Impossible to verify really. A review is ultimately a representation of a personal opinion and not a statement of facts.

The current system might have flaws but I think it's much better than no reviews at all.

I said I'd be there in 5 minutes. Quit calling me every half hour !!!
