I use gold standard 100% whey mixed with water , Yamser don't go cheap on your protein powder. As for loosing weight it's all about your diet , high protein low carbs , you can have a cheat meal once a week . Oh stay off the gargle .

Any of the products from Holland & Barrett should do well for you, just don't get the 'weightgainer' stuff. Just use low fat milk and a single scoop of powder, and maybe a bit of yogurt in your shake as well to thicken it up and make it a bit more filling. Protein shakes can be a great 'meal replacement'-- as in, you have ONLY a shake INSTEAD OF a meal. I had one myself this morning for breakfast around 8:30, and I was fine until lunch around 2pm.

Quit the smoking (save the money for holidays or further education or invest it) and start jogging - it is important that you joggat least consistently for at least 40 minutes - you don't have to be fast at the beginning - that comes with time

If you look at your Diet, you should be able to adjust it to give you enough Protein you need for a day. Those protein Shakes do work, but they are really expensive and most taste like shit.
Eat Chicken/Turkey, Fish, some lean Lean meet (No sausages!!), Eggs and try eating nuts and seeds as a snack.
Try and stay away from breads and stuff generally stuffed with Wheat, which means most Beers and pasta. Some carbs (spuds and brown rice) are ok you need them for energy. But not late at nite.

Get off the SMOKES Yamser, that last tip will save your life one day

Thing is there that muscle is heavier than fat so if you are building muscle don't expect to loose a lot of weight!

Anything low carb protein will do. Its carbs put weight on most people. Drop them down to as low as you can while still having enough energy. Id up the caffeine and stimulants because they make you jittery leading to weight loss.
