If you knew a girl had been robbed or assualted but she was fearful, or worried about reporting same to the authorities and asked you to go with her to a police station, for support, help with language or whatever, would you go with her?

It would probably depend on how well I knew the girl but I would say yes, I probably would.

Having lived in other countries where I didn't know many people and I didn't speak the language I can completely appreciate how the girl would feel in the situation you describe.
