Answer is yes, I'm thinking though that the girl really trusts the person in the first place. I'm hoping robbing's are very isolated incidents..

Would you give your name, address and stand as a witness in court if necessary.
If it was necessary for the case and essential to putting the asshole that robbed her away then yes i would!

Yes. I too have lived abroad, and I know how difficult it can be doing bureaucratic things in a foreign language. I'm assuming that I knew the girl reasonably well.

Not so sure about being a witness in court; why would I be a witness, if all I'd done was to offer moral support, and hadn't seen anything myself?

You would be a witness to the circumstances that led to her being taken to the authorities. However i very much doubt that any client who came forward to help a girl or cooperate on any case would be taken before the courts as an open witness, more likely they would be referred to as man A and their details masked, after all they want people to come forward.

I don't know any girl well enough and as I am a cowardly fecker I suspect I wouldn't. Better call Saul!!!! I could refer her to a solicitor maybe. As for all the other lads here who so easily say they would- I wonder!!!

As I said in my first reply it would depend on how well I actually knew the girl but as someone who has lived in different countries with different laws and languages that I couldn't understand I could appreciate what it is like for someone to be in a similar position. So, yes! I would try to help It should also be noted that I don't have a wife to hide things from

I have in the past helped out an escort in a similar situation and didn't hesitate to do so. But I'm like Petros in that I'm not married so divulging personal details isn't a problem.

A different slant... Three years ago, I was waiting on a bus late at night in Geneva. Jumped, phone/wallet taken, plus a few smacks... Not far away from the UN building. Two Asian ladies brought me back to an apartment and got cleaned up. Long story short... two of the nicest escorts I owe a lot too.... So, I feel I owe something back.....
