    Hahahah get the thing to a mechanic and get rid of the sounds. A bit of house music on the radio and ya may be able to drown them out and also have a lil shake down on ya journey.

    Unfortunately I see the newer VW's constantly falling over these days. The 2.0 diesel they have is utter rubbish — they all shoot their con rods out through either the block or sump! I saw an 11D Passat one the other day being pulled into a mates garage the other day and we both said "didn't it do well to last this long" LOL That 1.4 AXP engine VW chucked together was the beginning of their slippery slope! Some of their older stuff was very good and they are still trading on that reputation!
