Friday is named after the goddess of love, Venus, or in Germanic languages after the Norse equivalent, Frya or Frigg or Frigga.
How better to honour Frigga on her day (Fri(gga)day, than to go punting. Surely she will smile on us.

Superstitious? Not really, my car passed the NCT at 7pm and I got back home to see Spain vs Netherlands.
