  1. Default Trafficked girls

I wouldn't buy into what TORL or other abolitionists would have us believe, girls been handcuffed to radiators and only released to entertain clients, seeing 10 - 12 clients a day or stuff like that. Nor would I read too much into any statistics they produce or the attention such matters get in the media, remember the 14 year old girl thought to be trafficked in from Europe last year, who actually turned out to be a 25 year old Australian women, they jumped all over this and were eventually proved to be wrong. However I think that we would all agree that it would be naive to believe that all girls working in this industry are doing so of their own free will and that there is not a seedy criminal element controlling some girls in this country, although it is in the vast minority it unfortunately casts a shadow over this industry as a whole in the eyes of those would don't know the truth and believe the crap they are fed from Ruhama or the like.

What responsibilities do we as clients have on this matter. I would be fairly sure that nobody here would visit a girl if they felt in the slightest that she was doing this against her will. Have read comments in some reviews where the client said they weren't comfortable and then said something like "made my excuses and left" or "I walked" or "I got the hell out of there" Is it enough to just leave however, would your conscience be clear. If you felt that a girl was in distress and then rightly didn't go through with the appointment and left would you report this matter to the relevant authorities. Even follow up to ensure that it has been investigated by them. On the flip side I have read comments in some reviews such as "no interaction, she just lay there, seemed tired, maybe she had a busy day" or "I had not a lot of time to spare and was here now I decided to go through with the appointment, what a mistake" or "heard men's voices talking from another room" Are these signs of girls not doing this of their own free will and yet clients overloooking this just to get their end away. There are profiles on this site that are very suspect, girls in what appear to be danky, badly lit bedrooms, lying on scruffy looking mattresses or beds, every service under the sun been offered, rock bottom prices, not allowing reviews. Put one of these profiles in with fifty of established girls and ask the question point out the girl that you feel may be trafficked, I think with confidence that members of this community would pick the correct profile everytime. Having said this, some men must be visiting these girls with suspect profiles, otherwise it wouldn't be worth it financially, or risk the exposure it costs to put them on this site.

What responsibilities does this website have on this matter. I know that it is impossible to say that one hundred percent that a girl may be trafficked just by looking at their pictures, profiles. But if there is suspicion of any kind should these profiles be allowed to be advertised. Girls using profiles with unverified photos, some of which aren't very good, profiles with ratted positive reviews by clients that only have ratted reviews, should they be allowed to be advertised on this site. I know behind all the chat rooms, forums, EOTM competitions, beautiful girls, the main purpose of this website is to generate revenue for it's owners. Do they overlook their responsibilities in preventing trafficking for financial gain. I quote directly from this website "clients play an important role in stopping sex trafficking and exploitation in Ireland - please do your part" While this is entirely true, surely this website plays an important role too.

As I have said I know that while trafficking does exist in this country it is in the vast minority and nothing like the pursuers of the Swedish model would have us believe. I feel that the vast majority of girls advertising here ARE doing so of their own free will, be it part time, only for a couple of years with a bigger plan in place with what they want to do with the money they earn while escorting or whatever. As another poster so correctly stated "these girls do not need saving from themselves, nor saving from the genuine client" but surely there are some girls working in this country that do need to be saved. I know this thread is probably bit of a downer, if so I apologize but I feel that this forum is an important, strong tool that we have. While good morning, the weather is nice outside threads are great, I feel that we also have a responsibility to talk about the more serious matters that there are regarding this industry.
