For my part I have never met a escort who I ever even suspected was working under duress. Contrary to popular public opinion about escorting, I have never even met any escort who seemed to me to be unhappy about her choice of work. I don't deny trafficking exists, I have just never met any evidence of it.

I also find it hard to understand, with so many genuine good escorts working, many at fifty or sixty euro for a half hour, and many of these girls complaining that they have to charge low rates to get clients, how anyone could make money trafficking girls.
A lot of escorts complain that here are just too many escorts working in Ireland with regard to the economic situation and that it is only a matter of time until a lot of them leave.

Moderators I do acknowledge have a tough job anywhere, but especially on this forum. I don't think they are necessarily dictatorial, but they can be a bit clumsy.

To be fair this thread is still going, and a few others have continued when I thought it was certain they would disappear.

Yes I think that you are probably right. Another member posted some interesting historic threads, posts by other members last night. They have since been deleted from this thread already. Are we not able to ask serious questions about this site, this industry. Should we all just talk about meaningless topics, when we break from the norm or seek answers to serious questions will it just be deleted. If this thread is locked, deleted it proves that Orson Welles' 1984 is alive and well and living within the EI community. It will also raise the question, is this a community or a dictatorship. I hope not.

This site is mearly a " business window " and as a shopper you are allowed view and purchase the goods on offer , you could suggest to the shop keeper how , in your opinion , his business might be improved but like all businesses the shareholders want as much profit as possible And asking awkward questions might just result in you being advised to shop elsewhere

I don't underestimate the difficult jobs that the mods have, especially given the nature of this site. For the most part I think they do a good job and allow threads flow. It is frustrating however when certain posts are deleted, posts which are not insulting and contribute greatly to an important subject. I have said my piece, asked my questions. I feel the answers I seek are not going to be forthcoming unfortunately. As I said in my opening post, I feel that this forum is an important and strong tool and should be used for more than good morning threads or posting everytime a goal is scored in the world cup. I have serious questions about this industry, I will continue to put them to you, the EI community. I do not wish to upset anyone, or be seen as controversial but I think that these are questions that we should ask each other, even ask ourselves. Love to all (including the mods)

Have 3-5-7 (?) girls working out of same location , turning tricks at 50e / , have each of the girls work through 8-10 clients a day ..

Do your math xx

Apt cost 1000e ? 2000e ? Per month.

Even : Say three girls , three clients each / day @ 50e each : 450e (?) / day / apartment ? 7 days / week ........

In four days out of the month has already paid for the accommodation. Advert : 1200 / month for 3 ads by the week.

All the expenses covered by one week's work , the rest is all honey ... Sheer profit.

Work them til they burn out , then get replacements. Pay the girls half or even less of the amount they make.



As shocking as that may be to most of us , to some girls coming from impoverished surroundings , it is a good deal. Sadly.

And even more sadly there are men who have absolutely no qualms about paying a visit to such establishments.

That's why we would need this industry regulated !! Have a dedicated police unit check on the well being of working girls.

Just because the deal sounds awful to us , it doesn't necessarily mean that the provider is coerced.

But it would be oh-so-much nicer , if we knew it for sure that girls are not being mistreated , exploited , coerced. xx
